1. What cookies are#

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device so it can remember your actions and preferences and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and SDKs. Some are essential for the site to work; others are optional.

Where the law of your country treats other technologies the same way as cookies — including local storage, session storage and similar identifiers — this policy covers those too, and we describe below exactly what this site places on your device.

Under the EU and UK e-privacy rules, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for does not require consent. Anything beyond that does, and we ask for it before the storage happens rather than after.

2. Cookies we use#

Browsing this site sets no cookies. It writes nothing to local storage and loads no third-party script, so there is no advertising, analytics or profiling identifier to list. Two things are stored on a device, both strictly necessary and neither used to track anyone: one if you dismiss a banner, and one only for our own staff who sign in to the private admin area at /admin.

The inventory above is complete. If we later add analytics, an embedded scheduler or any other service that stores data on your device, this table and the section below will be updated before that service is switched on, and optional storage will be placed behind a consent choice.

3. Third-party cookies#

Some cookies are set by third parties we rely on — for example analytics providers and embedded content such as videos or maps. These are listed here together with links to each provider’s own privacy and cookie policies.

This site currently loads no third-party scripts, fonts, analytics or embedded content. Typefaces are served from our own domain rather than a font network, so no request leaves your browser to another company while you read these pages.

If you choose to book a call, the booking page is provided by a third party and opens only when you click it — nothing from that provider loads, and no identifier is set, unless you do. Their handling of your data is governed by their own policy, which we link at the point of use.

4. Managing cookies#

You can control cookies through our cookie banner and through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

Because we set no optional storage of any kind, there is nothing here to turn off and no banner asking you to. As a visitor, the only item stored is removed automatically when you close the tab; the admin session cookie is never set unless a member of our staff signs in. The one thing that can bring a third party into the page is the booking panel on the Contact page, and it is loaded only when you press Pick a time. Until you do, your browser makes no request to the scheduling provider, sends it no referrer and receives no cookie from it. If you would rather not load it at all, the form beside it and the email address on that page reach us the same way.

You can still clear or block site data at any time from your browser settings — under Privacy and security in Chrome and Edge, Privacy & Security in Firefox, or Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data in Safari. Doing so will not stop any part of this site working; at most, a banner you had dismissed will reappear.

5. Do Not Track signals#

This section explains how the site responds to browser “Do Not Track” signals and to Global Privacy Control.

This site does not track you, across this site or any other, so a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal has nothing to switch off. We honour both by default in the only way that means anything: we do not collect the data in the first place.

If we ever introduce analytics or advertising technology, we will treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information, as required under the CCPA and equivalent laws.
